Distributor Apex Advertising (PPAI 109458, D8), based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has announced a year-long commitment to 30 acts of kindness in honor of its 30th year in business.

“Giving back to our community has been a longstanding priority that is tightly woven into how we do business,” says Ron Weaver, president and CEO of Apex Advertising. “As we approached our 30th year, we knew we wanted to celebrate by giving back in a way that felt meaningful. The idea of engaging in hands-on activities as opposed to solely making monetary donations spoke to us as an opportunity to strengthen our connection with our neighbors, and within our team.”

Several acts of kindness have already taken place ranging from PPE donations to fundraising sponsorships. Apex Advertising has also invited its local community to nominate a Lancaster County-based organization in need using the social media hashtag #Apex30for30. All acts of kindness will follow recommended COVID-19 safety measures including mask-wearing, social distancing and limiting group sizes.

Apex Advertising’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility includes a vendor vetting process, no tolerance discrimination workplace policy and an employee volunteering program with paid time off throughout the year to engage with organizations that are meaningful to them.
