John “Gib” Mullan, chief counsel to CPSC Commissioner Ann Marie Buerkle, is joining the 2016 PPAI Product Responsibility Summit to lead a panel discussion on how voluntary standards impact safety and considerations when selecting products that may not have established voluntary standards.

Product responsibility guidelines are always changing and the industry must be able to quickly adapt to an evolving marketplace. The 2016 Summit, to be held September 18-20 in National Harbor, Maryland, brings together the experts and expertise to highlight the importance of product responsibility in today’s economy and how it can differentiate businesses from their competition and keep them on the right side of the law.

The Summit includes two days of education featuring distinguished speakers, industry thought leaders and representatives from product safety labs and product certification groups. All Summit attendees will also receive a binder containing best practices, protocols and resource materials based on the five pillars of compliance. Seating is limited and fills up quickly, so register today to secure a spot.
