PPB spoke with Theresa Moccio, promotional sales coordinator.
How did your company get its start? We started in 1999 as an offshoot of art-based resort apparel company Mountain Tees. We brought art-based, sustainable products to the greeting card and gift category.
What led your company to enter the promotional products market? We built a highly efficient customization system serving the top resort customers, from Universal Studios to Princess Cruises. We offered 24-hour production, lightning-fast art creation and a highly capable, customer-focused team. We knew these skills would cross over beautifully for the promotional industry.
Recently, we developed a one-of-a-kind art capability for creating relaxation coloring images from reference photos. The response from resorts who could now take this hot trend and offer fully customized content was fantastic. However, we knew the application for promotions would be even better as organizations look to build their brand around stress relief, wellness and creativity.
What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry? We love the professionalism, commitment and creativity of the distributors. We share a drive to deliver a well-tailored, innovative product in a fast-paced environment.
Why did you join PPAI? To build our distributor base in the industry. We heard great things about the trade shows and the partnership with SAGE, and we have received lots of valuable advice.
