PPAI has named Teresa Moisant, MAS, owner and president of Moisant Promotional Products, headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the 2017 PPAI Woman of Achievement.

“It is such a privilege to receive this honor,” says Moisant. “I am proud to walk in the footsteps of the amazing women who have been honored before me. The environment of sharing and helping that has been cultivated within the promotional products industry allows me to assist so many. I truly believe the more people you help to achieve their goals, the closer you get to achieving your own.”

The PPAI Woman of Achievement award recognizes an individual who has led the way in the advancement of women in the industry, exhibited outstanding leadership and made significant contributions to the industry and her community. She constantly strives to go above and beyond, leading the way by setting the standard of excellence in the industry, and is an inspiration to others, a role model and mentor. Moisant will be presented with the award at the 2017 PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) welcome dinner and award presentation, June 26, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Moisant has a distinguished history in the promotional products industry as a long-time volunteer, mentor and advocate. She has helped countless women grow both personally and professionally by fostering a culture of inclusion, camaraderie and professional development. Her continuous commitment throughout her career is best demonstrated by her involvement in WLC as a speaker, meeting facilitator and coach to young professionals.

One of Moisant’s nominators says, “The key to her success [as a mentor] is that she stands beside you as you grow, encouraging you, nudging you along the way. And, if you fall--and many of us have ‘tripped’ from time to time--she will be there to pick us up, help brush us off and even wipe a tear if that need exists. She gives of herself, her time and her love unconditionally each and every moment of every day.”

Moisant was the recipient of PPAI’s Distinguished Service Award in 2016 and has also been honored by The Journal Record not only as one of six of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs but also as one of 50 Women Making A Difference. She has also twice been named Ambassador of the Year by PPAI.

Moisant Promotional Products was founded in 1990 by Teresa and Bill Moisant. The company has grown into a $2.5 million enterprise that has received numerous accolades, including being honored three times by the OKC Chamber of Commerce as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies as well as being named the Best Promotional Products Company in okcBiz magazine’s annual Best Of Business for 10 consecutive years—2008 through 2017. Moisant Promotional Products was also named Distributor of the Year in 2000 by Urban League Supplier.

Moisant is the 11th recipient of the PPAI Woman of Achievement award. Previous winners are Carol Aastad, MAS; Margaret Custer-Ford, MAS; Margie Price, MAS; Mary Ann Farmer, MAS; Janelle Nevins; Roni Wright, MAS; Jo-an Lantz, MAS; Maribeth Sandford, CAS; Sheri Lennarson, MAS, and Mary Dobsch, MAS.
