The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has released updated information on the product safety training events it is hosting in China in September. The programs will educate and train the promotional products industry’s manufacturing partners on U.S. regulations.

CPSC staff will present a free forum and training for prospective and participating laboratories in the CPSC’s Third Party Testing Program on conformity assessment of children’s products, from 8 am to 4 pm on September 11 in Guangzhou. In cooperation with the European Commission, CPSC will present “Design for Safety: Preventing Mechanical Hazards for Designers and Manufacturers,” a training seminar on designing consumer products to prevent mechanical hazards, from 9 am to 5 pm on September 12. The program is aimed at aimed at designers, manufacturers and testing professionals. Also co-hosted with AmCham of South China, registration for this event can be found here.
