PPAI Membership Services Director Natalie Clark and Marketing Manager Amy Bramhall attended the American Society of Association Executives’ (ASAE) Membership & Marketing Conference last month to support the marketing efforts of PPAI’s Membership Services Department.

Held May 22-23, ASAE’s annual conference focused on the latest trends, technologies, integrated strategies and success stories that are effectively being used by associations to market their brands and communicate value to members. Keynotes at the two-day event included Jamie Turner, CEO of 60 Second Marketer, who spoke on marketing in the post-advertising era; and (pictured above) Byron Scott, ESPN analyst, and Charles Norris, chairman of the board of Freshpet, Inc., whose joint presentation focused on motivating others and creating prosperity.

The Association’s membership and marketing focus includes recruiting, retention, trade shows and affinity programs. The takeaways from the conference will be incorporated into future planning to evolve and improve PPAI members’ experiences with the Association.
