The Philadelphia Area Promotional Products Association (PAPPA) held its 45th annual awards and recognition dinner on January 29. At the event, PAPPA President Lora Dunnigan and Vice President John Davis presented awards recognizing the accomplishments of the regional association’s members and the companies they have done business with.

The awards presented included:

Volunteer of the Year—Mark Markoff. Markoff received the Volunteer of the Year Award thanks to his enthusiasm, dedication and his sincere interest in assisting with the association’s anniversary. He is a two-term PAPPA president, having served in 1989 and 2002.

Supplier of the Year—Sanmar. Sanmar was presented with the Supplier of the Year award in recognition of its quality products, on-time delivery record, superior customer service and for supporting and attending PAPPA events throughout the year. Candi Crispin, Sanmar territory manager, accepted the award.

Multi Line Rep of the Year—Rob Craxford, Craxford/Rubin. PAPPA recognized Craxford for several reasons: He provides outstanding service to his customers, and also attends to the ongoing needs of distributors through returned telephone calls and emails, on-site visits and new product/idea generation. The association also noted that Craxford stays actively engaged with the pulse of the industry and his clients through social media.

Distributor of the Year—Premium Works, Inc. Premium Works was recognized based on the high-quality business it provides to suppliers with clean and consistent purchase orders, art provided in the proper format and for operating with the highest ethical standards. Unable to attend the awards presentation, PAPPA Board Member Jeff Harris presented the award to Premium Works at a later date.

Supplier Sales Rep of the Year—Tom Clouser, MAS, The Magnet Group. Clouser was recognized because he attends to the ongoing needs of distributors through returned telephone calls and emails, on-site visits and new product/idea generation.
