This month, PPAI recognizes Kate Plummer, vice president of supplier member Clearmount Plastics, LTD headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, as the October PPB Volunteer of the Month. The Association’s PPB Volunteers of the Month have dedicated their time to furthering the progress and fulfilling the charge of a committee, advisory group, work group or task force on which they serve.

Plummer serves on PPAI’s Women’s Leadership Conference Work Group. She was nominated by Stacy Riddler, PPAI Manager of Professional Development and staff liaison to the Professional Development Committee.

“Kate currently serves on the PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) Work Group,” says Riddler. “She presents herself as a leader to young professionals, women and many others in our industry. She has brought fresh insight, perspective and contributions to the work of the Women’s Leadership program and she continues to be a positive role model for other young professionals. Kate truly cares about the work of PPAI and the education that PPAI offers.”

Riddler adds, “She has been a true supporter of WLC and what the program stands for. Always smiling and positive, she has been a true pleasure to work with and I look forward to seeing her shine as a leader within our industry as she continues to mentor others by sharing her knowledge and experiences. She is a true asset to this group!”

Riddler nominated Plummer based on her creativity, passion and energy for the industry, her loyalty in being a constant champion for WLC, and her willingness to collaborate with the work group.

The PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference Work Group supplements the work of the Professional Development Committee for the annual PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference.
