HanesBrands Acquires Knights Apparel

HanesBrands (UPIC: HBIINC), headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has entered into an agreement to acquire Knights Apparel, a seller of licensed collegiate logo apparel in the mass retail channel. Knights Apparel sells t-shirts, sweatshirts and other sports apparel with college logos and graphics representing 400 U.S. colleges and universities. ILWU, PMA Reach Agreement In West Coast Labor Dispute

As first reported Monday in a PPB Newslink Breaking News, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) have reached a tentative agreement regarding labor contracts at 29 ports along the West Coast. The new contract’s details have not yet been released.
