William Kestin, CEO of the Australasian Promotional Products Association (APPA), has been appointed president of the International Federation of Promotional Products Associations (IFPPA).
PPAI is a member of the IFPPA, alongside promotional products associations from Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Past president and CEO of PPAI Steve Slagle, CAE, had been president of the IFPPA since the organization’s inception. Kestin is filling the open position left after Slagle’s retirement.
“IFPPA faced many challenges,” says Kestin, “including the changing international safety and labor standards and ethical representation in production, creativity and accountability. Education is paramount, and welcoming new associations into the federation is a top priority. Relevance can only be maintained by collectively sharing information and experiences. Regardless of our borders, we share the same challenges and strive for the same successes.”
