PPPC’s TOPS+ 2011 Shows Prove Popular With Attendees, Exhibitors

The TOPS+ 2011 series of tradeshows put on by the Promotional Products Professionals of Canada (PPPC) travelled across the country, from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Montreal, Quebec, and to Toronto, Ontario, before arriving in Calgary, Alberta.
The shows drew close to 1,400 distributors, and with them came over 1,700 invited clients. Except for the two-day Toronto show, the TOPS+ shows were single-day events. Depending on the city, visitors saw 426 booths across the country with displays from 51 suppliers. Distributors were able to treat their clients to the TOPS+ shows’ hospitality suites before inviting them onto the show floor.
All in all, the tour went off with only a few minor challenges. The biggest hiccup occurred in Toronto. A power failure saw the entire show run on back-up generators.
