PPAI’s Donations Of Goods To Irving Cares Top 42,000 Pounds

In April, PPAI staff collected food and money to assist local food pantry Irving Cares. The Association has supported Irving Cares since 2003 and in that time has donated more than 42,000 pounds of goods to benefit hungry families in the community. The PPAI Community Services Committee, an internal group that coordinates the Association staff’s many outreach efforts, spearheaded the project.

During this spring’s drive,
PPAI employees contributed 1,010 pounds of food and paper goods—including 2,030 rolls of toilet paper, a most-needed item—and $875 in cash.

PPAI staff also volunteered their time at Irving Cares and helped the food pantry paint its facility, and stock and organize its warehouse.

Leaderpromos Hosts The Book Company’s Roni Wright

As part of its ongoing preferred vendor relations program, Columbus, Ohio, distributor Leaderpromos recently welcomed supplier The Book Company to its main office. The visit was an opportunity for the two companies to learn about each other’s culture and personnel.

Roni Wright, MAS, vice president of The Book Company, began the educational and networking meeting with a beginner’s yoga session.

Proforma Event Recognizes Owners’ Sales Success

Proforma inducted 34 new members into its Million Dollar Club in April at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain Resort in Tucson, Arizona. The group celebrates the Cleveland, Ohio-based distributor’s owners and sales reps, million-dollar and multimillion-dollar sales accomplishments.

During the event, Proforma welcomed 18 first-time Million Dollar Club members and 12 members advanced to the Multi-Million Dollar Club, and four first-time members went directly into the Multi-Million Dollar Club. Owners who achieved million- and multimillion-dollar sales months in 2016 were also recognized.

With the induction of 34 new members in April, Proforma’s Million Dollar Club has grown to a record 171 members.

Along with the induction ceremony, Proforma’s three-day event in Tucson included opportunities to network with supplier partners and colleagues.

Bankers Recognizes Sales Partners At National Sales Meeting In April

Distributor Bankers Advertising Company (PPAI 101972), headquartered in Iowa City, Iowa, brought its sales partners and supplier representatives together in Springfield, Missouri, in April for its 2017 Gathering of the Stars National Sales Meeting. It began with a reception and dinner for more than 75 Bankers representatives, guests, suppliers and employees who attend the annual event, and included networking opportunities, education sessions, and recognition of the company’s sales partners’ sales and career achievements.
