The National Promotional Products Credit Group held its semi-annual meeting in conjunction with The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas in January. The meeting brought credit professionals together to discuss industry-specific information on mutual customers, best practices exchanges and networking. The event also included two educational presentations for attendees.

In attendance were credit professionals representing industry suppliers including BAG MAKERS, Inc.; BIC Graphic; Cutter & Buck; Digispec; Dunbrooke; Edwards Garments Co.; Gemline; Gempire; Gill Studios, Inc.; HTT Headwear; Hub Pen; Leed’s; Otto International; Paramount Apparel International; Pioneer Balloon Co.; SanMar Corp; Snugz USA; The Premium Line and Warwick Publishing Co.

Dr. Chris Kuehl, a managing director of Armada Corporate Intelligence, gave attendees an in-depth look at the United States economy. The presentation looked at the reported results of 2016 including the impact of the holiday season. Kuehl also spent time talking about what to expect for the U.S. and world economies for 2017, emphasizing that because of the new administration, there is significant amount of uncertainty in domestic policy. Also discussed were potential changes to the North American Free Trade Agreement and the future of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

The National Promotional Products Credit Group was founded in 1986 and has been a partner of PPAI since 2003.
