The 2016 PPAI Product Responsibility Summit’s schedule brings industry professionals together for presentations from regulatory and compliance experts, representatives from safety labs and industry thought leaders, and lets them explore their own path through a series of breakout sessions throughout the three-day event, September 18-20 in National Harbor, Maryland.

One such session, on September 19, takes a close look at the risks associated with shipping lithium-ion batteries, how to mitigate those risks and what to do if something goes wrong. The hour-long session explores new rules that have come into effect when it comes to shipping electronics, identifying their complications and highlighting the costs associated with non-compliance. The session includes an International Air Transport Association update on shipping lithium-ion batteries and PPAI recommends reviewing the Association’s archived webinars in advance to get the most from it.

Product responsibility guidelines are always changing and the industry must be able to quickly adapt to an evolving marketplace. The Summit provides expertise to highlight the importance of product responsibility in today’s economy and show how businesses can differentiate themselves from their competition and keep on the right side of the law.

All Summit attendees will also receive a binder containing best practices, protocols and resource materials based on the five pillars of compliance. Seating is limited and fills up quickly, so register today to secure a spot.
