The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is partnering with Australian and Canadian regulators on product safety training in China and Vietnam.

Staff members from the CPSC are collaborating with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in China and Health Canada in Vietnam to conduct free product safety training for buyers and sourcing professionals dealing in electrical/electronic products, apparel, furniture and toys from China and Vietnam. The training’s focus will be on products for children and products that have demonstrated high risks of safety violations and hazards, and is targeted toward resident-in-China or Vietnam buyers and sourcing professionals who purchase consumer products for major importers located in the United States, Australia and Canada. The training, to be held in cooperation with local American Chambers of Commerce, will be in Ningbo, China, on September 20; Guangzhou, China, on September 22, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on September 27.
