The Vernon Company (UPIC: Vernon) awarded its second annual Supplier Account Manager of the Year Award to Jim Heurung, regional sales manager at Hit Promotional Products (UPIC: HITP0001), during the Newton, Iowa-based distributor’s national sales meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in April.
Vernon began honoring individual supplier sales representatives for outstanding service and dedication to Vernon and its account executives in 2014. The company’s awards recognize those who continually go above and beyond expectations.
“This award recognizes a supplier rep who always gives ‘just a little bit more’ than expected. No one does that better than Jim Heurung,” says Vicki Palm, supplier relations manager with Vernon. “Jim plays a key role in a very successful Vernon-Hit partnership. He takes care of any individual account executive need that comes his way. He is in contact daily (sometimes numerous times daily) with Vernon AE’s, providing quotes and product ideas and solving any issues that may arise. He makes Vernon a priority all day, every day.”
Heurung says, “I am proud to accept the Vernon Account Manager of the Year award on behalf of all of us at Hit. It means that the group effort at Hit is paying dividends. We strive to take care of each and every order the same, regardless of size, because it is important to our customers that every order is done right the first time.
