PPAChicago Features Networking, Education At Holiday Showcase


PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE, spoke on using industry research to boost sales at PPAChicago’s Holiday Showcase.

On Thursday, October 23, the Promotional Products Association of Chicago (PPAChicago) held its Holiday Showcase in Skokie, Illinois. The event brought together more than 40 industry professionals from the area for a morning of networking and education.

As part of the showcase’s program, PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE, delivered a presentation on using industry research to boost sales. Bellantone shared findings from PPAI’s The Influence of Promotional Products on Consumer Behavior study and the ADvocate program on the size and scope of the industry, and how to use this information to position promotional products against other advertising media and shape advertisers’ and the public’s view of the industry.


PPAChicago’s Holiday Showcase drew more than 40 industry practitioners to a networking breakfast, education and the opportunity to meet with 12 exhibiting suppliers.

Alongside Bellantone’s presentation, PPAChicago’s showcase featured opportunities for industry practitioners to network and meet with their peers, and listen to product previews from 12 industry suppliers. Exhibitors shared information and details on their holiday products and new items for 2015.
