WLC To Feature Liz Goodgold On Personal Branding

Next month at the PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) in San Diego, California, attendees will hear from branding expert, author, coach and speaker Liz Goodgold on making the most of their personal branding.

Goodgold’s session at WLC is intended to dispel preconceptions that branding is only for big companies with big budgets, and that industry professionals can apply these same principles to their personal brands for greater visibility and profitability. Her audience will learn how to identify their brand DNA so they can consistently present themselves both online and off-line, develop a proprietary vocabulary and project a strong visual brand.

PPB Newslink spoke with Goodgold on her session at WLC and what her audience can expect.

PPB Newslink: How does the message behind your session apply to professionals working in the promotional products industry?

Liz Goodgold: Personal branding today is your secret weapon for standing out, boosting margins, gaining share, building awareness, creating buzz and reaping unprecedented results. With competitors just one click away, your personal brand creates an indelible link with prospects and customers.

PPB: If your audience takes home only one lesson from your presentation, what would you want it to be?

Goodgold: The holy grail of personal branding is “flawless recall.” Prospects must remember you in order to do business with you; people must remember you in order to refer business to you.

PPB: How will audience members apply what they’ve learned during your session at WLC to their professional lives?

Goodgold: Attendees will learn to master simple action steps that reap huge rewards. No longer will PPAI members overlook opportunities to connect, stand out and brand out in order to boost their business.

As a branding expert, Goodgold has appeared in Inc. magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fortune magazine and The Huffington Post, among others. She has also written three books: Red Fire Speaking: How to Speak Gooder, Red Fire Branding: How to Create a Hot Personal Brand to Have Customers for Life, and DUH! Marketing.

The 2013 PPAI Women’s Leadership Conference is July 8-10 in San Diego. Goodgold’s session is on Tuesday, July 9, at 2:15 – 3:25 pm. Seats are still available for the conference. Learn more and register here.
