Hong Kong Shows Attract Trade Buyers From Around The World

Nearly 4,500 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions took part in the HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, the largest fair of its kind in the world, and the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair. The two shows opened on April 27 and close today.

The two fairs welcomed 164 buying missions from 74 countries and regions, counting more than 11,800 trade buyers representing more than 8,200 companies.

The gift fair, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featured six new zones: “Boutique Deluxe,” for deluxe gifts; the “Hong Kong Design New Force,” featuring local designer brands; and the “Value-For-Money Gifts Zone,” offering competitively priced products as well as specialized product zones, “Jewelery Galleria,” “Scarves & Ties” and “Sunglasses.” The popular “Small-Order Zone,” which launched last year, is back, featuring products in more than 320 showcases.

The fairs also featured a series of seminars on topics ranging from luxury packaging secrets and IT trends to the value of going green, safety compliance and accreditation, and giftware and e-tailing trends.
