Harolde Savoy, CEO of Dominion Blueline, Inc. (UPIC: DOMI0002) and Rediform, Inc. (UPIC: R338290), and Gene Geiger, MAS, CEO of SunGraphix (UPIC: SUNGRAPH), jointly announced today an agreement for the Blueline/Rediform group to acquire SunGraphix and its diary, planner and journals collections. The closing will take place on Friday, March 29, and a detailed transition plan will be announced shortly in order to assure a smooth transition of all customer orders.
“SunGraphix diaries and journals have been the American gold standard, on par with the best made anywhere in the world,” says Savoy. “They fit our production skills and complement our product line nicely. The Blueline/Rediform group is truly excited about entering the promotional market with the acquisition of SunGraphix. We are getting a great group of very experienced people who will form the core of our new division and will have the ability to grow this division for many years to come.”
Geiger adds: “We know the Blueline team well, having participated with them for years in the world trade group Diary Publishers International. They are skilled manufacturers committed to the business. There is no other firm we know better qualified to take on the SunGraphix lines.”
SunGraphix previously announced that its Sullivan Daily Date collection has been acquired by Warwick Publishing, and it is currently working to find a firm to assume production of the Farmers’ Almanac.
Founded in 1917, Blueline is a North American group of companies manufacturing and distributing office products such as diaries, planners, notebooks, business forms and accounting supplies. The Blueline/Rediform team is confident that the acquisition of SunGraphix in its operation will be successfully integrated with minimal impact on customer service.
