The 2012 SAAGNY Fall Show Reports 12-Percent Rise In Attendance

The Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) held its 2012 Fall Show on October 11 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. The show had a 12-percent bump in verified attendance over last year for a total of 368 people attending.

The Hot New Products Session, sponsored by Bulova, showcased the newest products from a cross-section of suppliers including Godiva, Vantage and Peerless Umbrella.  Leading suppliers and multi-line representatives showed at 245 tables.

“This was a great opportunity to reconnect with our friends from the Metro New York/New Jersey area in their own backyard, and to introduce our line-up of 2013 products,” says Scott A. Nussinow, MAS, of Points of Light. “The Hot New Products session provided distributors with a fast-and-furious look at what’s new, with three-minute presentations from their favorite suppliers.”

Others praising the show included Michael Fishman of Vision USA: “If only every show could be as simple and well-attended as the SAAGNY Fall Show.” And Paul Steinberg, Halo Regional vice president for the Northeast says: “This was a perfect place to have a meeting for the Halo partners. We all agreed that the show gave us ample time to speak with a good number of our preferred suppliers and also had a nice mix of new suppliers as well. The Halo partners were really pleased with how many new and innovative ideas they came back with.”

Sponsors of this year’s show included Bullet Line, Bulova, Digispec, Hit Promotional Products, Prime Resources, Sanford B-to-B and Visstun.
