PPAI’s Rachel Robichaud Promoted To Director Of Professional Development

PPAI has promoted Rachel Robichaud to director of professional development. Robichaud has been with PPAI since 2010, previously as senior manager of professional development, where she has been instrumental in leading the development of top quality education programs.

In her new role, Robichaud will manage the education and professional development elements of PPAI’s programs and events, including The PPAI Expo, Expo East and professional development within the SAGE Show. “I am passionate about education and love working with our members,” she says. “I look forward to continuing to enhance the professional development offerings within PPAI and finding new ways to educate our members.”

Robichaud came to PPAI from Meeting Professionals International (MPI), where she served for more than five years as education manager. She was responsible for the association’s CMM (Certification in Meeting Management) certification program, education at its largest annual conference and education for MPI’s chapters. Prior to her time at MPI, she worked at Hewlett Packard, American Airlines and Waste Management in training, management and sales. Robichaud has a bachelor in science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M, and has completed the ASAE Professional Development Management Certificate Program and the ASTD Designing Learning Certificate Program.

When not at the office Robichaud enjoys travel, Texas A&M football and spending time with her family—husband Ricky and their daughters Rylee (4) and Raegan (1). “Yes,” Robichaud adds, “We are ‘that’ family, R, R, R and R.”
