AIA Recognizes MVPs At 2012 National Sales Summit

AIA Corporation (UPIC: ADVINADV) recently held its 2012 National Sales Summit in St. Cloud, Illinois. The event included an awards presentation for its Most-Valued Partner (MVP) suppliers.

The Save The Day Award recognized an MVP supplier who went above and beyond to save the day for one of AIA’s distributors and make them look like a hero in the eyes of the client. This year’s award went to Britney Covarrubias of Gold Bond, Inc.

The Supplier Excellence Award is presented to those suppliers who consistently demonstrate their willingness to support AIA distributors by providing outstanding customer service, top quality products, sales aids, on-time delivery and satisfactory problem resolution. Presented in a number of categories, this year’s winners are:

  • Apparel Category 1: SanMar
  • Apparel Category 2: Charles River Apparel
  • Hard Goods Category 1: Leed’s
  • Hard Goods Category 2: Evans Manufacturing
  • Hard Goods Category 3: Fields Manufacturing

The Velocity Award recognizes AIA’s fastest growing MVP suppliers, represented by their percentage of business growth over the previous year within their respective sales volume category. This year’s winners and their categories are:

  • Apparel Category 1: Cutter & Buck
  • Apparel Category 2: Dunbrooke Apparel
  • Hard Goods Category 1: Prime Resources Corp.
  • Hard Goods Platinum: Hit Promotional Products
  • Hard Goods Category 2: Calibre
  • Hard Goods Category 3: Admints & Zagabor

Awards for the most innovative and effective promotion are given to suppliers who offer the most unique promotions for distributors to grow their overall business. Their marketing and sales promotions provide creative tools distributors can pass along to their clients. They are:

  • Apparel: Bodek and Rhodes
  • Hard Goods: ETS Express

The Best New MVP Addition Award recognizes one from the group that has quickly demonstrated their worthiness as a most valued partner to AIA. This year’s winner is supplier Gordon Sinclair.

AIA has introduced its Best New PSP (Preferred Service Provider) Award to recognize those providers that play an important role with AIA Corporation and their distributors by offering services to make them more effective in growing their businesses. PPAI took home this year’s award.

Cathy Cummings, AIA’s supplier relations manager, says: “We believe that strong relationships are built on mutual trust and respect, and these components are what we use to strengthen our partnerships with our preferred suppliers.”
