Praise For The RAC Leadership Development Workshop
In June, the Regional Association Council (RAC) hosted its 13th annual Leadership Development Workshop (LDW) in Grapevine, Texas. Spread over three days along with its associated Executive Directors Leadership Forum, the event brought together 150 regional association leaders for education and networking opportunities.
Thank you for putting on such a great LDW in Grapevine last week.
As an incoming president for our association [the Promotional Products Association of Florida], the information was and is invaluable to me. As you know, we lost our executive director. Thanks to your group, we have a great format to follow for transition, and we were able to meet with both marketing for PPAI and SAGE while there, so hopefully our Expo will not suffer from things not getting done on time.

I want to tell you how impressed I was with LDW 2012. It was truly an outstanding experience. Everything was coordinated and planned so perfectly. The education was terrific, the meals delicious and plentiful, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet other regional leaders and appreciated the chance to meet and talk with national leadership.
It was apparent that much work, time and effort went into planning and organizing this event, and it showed. Everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly.
Bravo to you and the whole RAC team. You make us at OPPA [Ohio Promotional Professionals Association] so proud. I can’t wait ’til next year!

Thank you again for having me. What a great event. Every year I come home with a full heart and a full toolbox.
My sessions went great, smaller than I expected, but honestly a perfect size for feedback and participation. I had a fabulous time. I just love getting up there and sharing with my peers and having so many “aha” moments. I am so thankful to give back in this way.

You guys rock! What a great LDW event. Thank you to you and your staff for putting together a fun, educational and rewarding time. I came away with a much better understanding of the support PPAI has available for the regionals. This will be very helpful in my role as president of CAAMP (Carolinas Association of Advertising and Marketing Professionals) next year. Your hospitality made me feel that my time as a volunteer was truly appreciated.
