Geiger (UPIC: geiger) hosted its national education conference, Geiger Galleria, July 12-15, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix.
“The energy was palpable at this record-breaking event,” says Jo-an Lantz, MAS, Geiger executive vice president. “Over 400 sales partners and production partners attended the Geiger Galleria. We had over 16 education sessions that qualified for CEUs, plus an action-packed tradeshow; Bill Bates, three-time Super Bowl Dallas Cowboys player, helped kick off the event. Geiger Galleria has helped all of us prepare for an outstanding second half of the year.”
The four-day event featured education sessions, a tradeshow and networking opportunities and brought together the company’s sales partners, suppliers, associates and a number of industry speakers.
Among the speakers in attendance was PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE. He delivered a presentation on the value and proven effectiveness of promotional products versus other advertising media and techniques for differentiating a company from others in a crowded marketplace.
“Geiger Galleria is an excellent venue to present to and learn from hundreds of engaged, enthusiastic and motivated promotional consultants and supplier members,” says Bellantone. “The Geiger staff and nationwide sales force are among the most engaged in PPAI programs and activities such as product safety, public affairs, certification and volunteer leadership. Being able to spend time with this group and their supplier partners provides me with the feedback I need to improve member engagement and create opportunities for meaningful involvement in the association.”
