Westbury, New York-based Tempo Industries, Inc. (UPIC: TEMP0001) has acquired the assets of Timenet USA (UPIC: TIMENET), headquartered in La Puente, California. Timenet’s facility in California will close later this summer, with operations relocating to Tempo’s New York location.
Stuart Braunstein, Tempo president, says: “We are thrilled to be able to add Timenet’s line of high-quality metal writing instruments, key chains and gift items to Tempo’s already impressive line of USB flash drives, tools and other products. This addition enables us to offer a more comprehensive line of products and decorating options to our customers and be a major supplier in these new product categories instantly. The two companies’ shared vision of excellent product quality and award-winning customer service made this a natural fit.”
Business is expected to go on as normal at the two companies during the transition. Timenet CEO Steven Lin and certain members of his staff will work with Tempo to ensure the process is not disruptive for customers.
