PPEF Crosses The $1 Million Mark With 2012 Scholarship Award Winners

With awards totaling $100,000 for its 2012 scholarship recipients, the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) has surpassed the $1 million mark. Since 1989, PPEF has awarded $1,042,000 in college scholarships to 610 students whose parents work in the promotional products industry or who are working for a company in the industry. This year, PPEF is awarding $100,000 in college scholarships to 65 recipients. Awards are determined through a competitive application process with the winners being announced at the end of May each year.

Of the 65 scholarships awarded this year, 10 are Four-Year College Scholarships, two are Chairman’s College Scholarships and 49 are One-Year College Scholarships. Additionally, one student each will receive the Friends of PPMN Scholarship award, the Vincent J. Arena Scholarship, the Castelli North America Scholarship, the Glen Holt Scholarship, the George C. Matteson, Jr. Scholarship and the H. Ted Olson Scholarship.
