Running June 24-26, iPROMOTEu’s three-day event has drawn hundreds of the company’s supplier partners and distributor affiliates to the city for training, networking opportunities and a tradeshow.
Bellantone’s keynote presentation examined the state of the promotional products industry, giving his audience PPAI’s perspectives. He identified a significant similarity between large network distributors such as iPROMOTEu and PPAI: Small companies affiliate for the same reasons that members join associations—they do so to accomplish things that they can’t do on their own. These connections are only going to grow more important to businesses, given how the size and scope of the industry has grown over the past few years.

In his speech, Bellantone stressed to the audience that while businesses should strive to gain market share, they shouldn’t do so at the expense of other companies in the promotional products industry. The spend on promotional products continues to increase against other advertising media and industry companies can gain ground against a number of media channels that have not fared so well in the tough economy. Bellantone says: “Good times or bad, promotional products work. That is the message that we all need to be preaching.”
