Carol Gauger Promoted To PPAI Director Of Member Engagement And Regional Relations

As part of the Association’s efforts to meet the needs of the promotional products industry, PPAI welcomes a new member to its leadership team. Carol Gauger, previously serving as PPAI’s senior manager of recognition and volunteer programs, has been promoted to director of member engagement and regional relations.

Gauger brings considerable experience, both at the Association and with industry companies, to her role. She has held leadership roles at Dart Business Accessories and at Senator Promotional Group USA, where she was vice president of sales and marketing. At PPAI, she has led the Association’s awards, recognition and member engagement initiatives.

“During her time with PPAI, Carol has proved to be an invaluable asset because of her industry experience and enthusiasm,” says PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE. “I am confident she will bring the same level of commitment and creativity to her new role as a director with the Association.”

When asked what attracted her to the position, Gauger said: “This new position is a logical opportunity. Member engagement is a primary focus at the Association, and I believe my extensive experience in the industry, combined with my time at the Association, form the foundation I need to deliver a truly satisfying membership experience for both new and long-time members.”

As PPAI’s director of member engagement and regional relations, Gauger’s focus will be on developing the organizational structures and processes to ensure meaningful, productive and rewarding experiences for the Association’s volunteers; engaging and recognizing member loyalty; and enhancing the overall membership experience.

“The timing for this transition couldn’t be better,” says Gauger. “We have just completed development of an updated strategic plan. With this process, each staff member has been looking at ways to deliver a relevant experience that is reflective of members’ needs and wants in today’s marketplace. Exciting things are on the horizon.”
