Portland, Oregon, supplier Thinc Actionwear’s (UPIC: THINC) open house, held to showcase its 2012 collection, raised more than $1,500 for the Oregon Food Bank.
At its open house, Thinc Actionwear debuted its new line of apparel, caps and bags. The event also gave vendors and customers a chance to meet face-to-face. The price of admission was a donation to the food bank. Guests’ donations, plus a matching donation from the supplier, totaled $1,632 and 830 pounds of food.
“We want to thank everyone that came,” says Karen McCall, part of the ownership team. “It was wonderful to see everyone and better still to break our record donation for Oregon families in need.”
