PPAI has been selected from a field of 6,000 entries as the winner of two 2012 Communicator Awards of Distinction for its work on the PPAI New Professional Development Certification Program integrated marketing campaign and PPAI New Industry Certification Program video. The 2012 Communicator Awards, presented by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence of communications professionals for work that transcends innovation and craft—work that made a lasting impact.
The PPAI certification program is a promotional products industry professional development program targeted to promotional products consultants and is designed to align with each stage of a promotional products professional’s evolving career. The PPAI New Professional Development Certification Program integrated marketing campaign and video introduced new professional designations to the promotional products industry.
The PPAI marketing and creative team responsible for the development and production of this award-winning campaign include Gretchen Demke, Neisha Freeman, Joel Zoch and David Augustini.
“The pool of entries we received for this year’s Communicator Awards serves as a true testament to the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. Each year our entrants continue to amaze by reinventing the ways we communicate and market in an ever-changing industry,” says Linda Day, executive director of the IAVA. “On behalf of the entire Academy, we congratulate this year’s Communicator Award Entrants and Winners for their passion and dedication. We are humbled to be given the opportunity to recognize such amazing work.”
PPAI’s most recent awards for excellence include the 2011 Davey Silver Award for its video production, titled “Advocating For The Industry,” and the 2011 Communicator Award of Excellence and 2011 Gold Hermes Award for the Expo ONE Invitation. To see the award-winning video, click here.
