PPAI Leads Branding Leadership Forum At AAF Nashville Convention

PPAI joined with American Advertising Federation (AAF) Nashville ADDY award winners on April 13 to present a branding leadership forum during the annual AAF Nashville Convention and District 7 ADDY Awards.

PPAI’s “Branded: Marketing To The Street-Smart Consumer Forum,” moderated by PPAI President and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE, featured Nelson Eddy, partner and creative director of Nashville, Tennessee-based DVL; Dan Monroe, Cayenne Creative partner and writer, based in Birmingham, Alabama; and promotional products veteran and owner of Tuscaloosa, Alabama-based Tucker-Massey Marketing, Michele Massey.

PPAI’s AAF Nashville panelists presented award-winning and results-driven client case studies showcasing integrated marketing communications strategies. These included the Jack Daniels Tennessee Squire Association Calendar, a 50-year tradition, which integrated a digital strategy of augmented reality and a story-telling website to keep loyal customers engaged year round; The Birmingham Education Foundation awareness and fundraising campaign featuring former U.S. Secretaries of State General Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, which exceeded its goals incorporating posters, street talkers, donation cans, mall signs, lapel pins and program collateral in the form of a custom composition notebook; and panelist Michele Massey providing sage advice to an audience of distributors, suppliers and end buyers on the importance of always engaging the expertise of a promotional products consultant when developing a campaign using promotional products.

“The PPAI thought leadership panels are a great way to demonstrate the creative, yet mainstream use of promotional products in highly effective award-winning campaigns,” says Paul Bellantone, CAE, PPAI president and CEO. “The AAF Nashville ADDY awards showcase the best of the best and bring to life the amazing talent this industry has to offer.”

AAF Nashville is a non-profit organization for advertising professionals in the middle Tennessee area. Advertising, marketing, design and communications firms of all sizes are represented on the Federation’s membership list, as well as industry-related suppliers and national corporations with Nashville offices.
