SAGE Fact Of The Week

Not everyone realizes that they can set up a default sort setting in SAGE Online. That means every time a user searches in SAGE Online, the products that match their search criteria will be sorted just like they like them. This is one of the conveniences available through the SAGE benefits available through a PPAI membership. Learn more about them here.

It’s easy to set up these defaults. Follow these easy steps:

1. On the SAGE Online Homepage, click on “Tools” in the toolbar on the top of the screen
2. Select “Options”
3. Select the “Searching” tab
4. On the bottom half of the screen, there is a “Sort by” drop down box. Users select how they would like their results to be sorted.

Users can choose to have their results sorted by catalog pricing, ratings, popularity or a number of other options. They can also have a secondary sort in order to organize results even further. For example, if a user would like to have results sorted by Popularity first, then Net Pricing, SAGE Online will remember these settings each time they log in, ensuring perfectly sorted search results every time.
