SAGE Conference At The PPAI Expo Attracts More Than 400 Attendees
Held in conjunction with The PPAI Expo 2012, the inaugural SAGE Conference drew more than 450 people on January 3. The full-day event featured a complimentary breakfast as well as a full roster of education sessions.
David Natinsky, SAGE president, greeted attendees with a welcome message: “We were so excited about hosting our first Conference. The SAGE Conference is an event where distributors and suppliers, alike, can really get to know SAGE products and all the features we offer that can benefit their company.”
Sessions at the conference included overviews of SAGE for suppliers and distributors, a presentation on the new features of SAGE Online 9.0, how to market in SAGE, maximizing a company’s web presence, and more. Leena Rinne, international business partner at FranklinCovey, spoke during the conference’s customer appreciation luncheon and technology discussion. Her presentation guided attendees on using technology to improve productivity at their companies.
“Technology distraction disorder is exactly what most of us suffer from—the overwhelming influx of e-mails, texts, IM’s and overall technology that inhibits our ability to function efficiently,” says Jennifer Sullivan, conference attendee and president of Your Partner Promotions (UPIC: YOURPART).“[Rinne] offered great tips on combating this challenge in order to be more productive in business and focus on the more important things in our life.”
SAGE intends for its Conference to return to The PPAI Expo 2013. Natinisky says: “Overall, the Conference was very successful, and we look forward to improving our plans for an even bigger and better SAGE Conference 2013.”
