Employees at distributor Motivators, Inc. (UPIC: MOTIV8RS) donated toys and their time to help children at Winthrop-University Hospital “Extend The Holidays.”
On December 14, Motivators, Inc. employees visited the hospital, put on festive outfits and helped spread holiday cheer among the children staying there. The company also contributed more than 40 gifts toward the initiative.
Jon Borowka, outbound sales consultant at Motivators, dressed as Santa and with the help of his “elves,” handed out a number of the presents to children there. The rest will be distributed over the coming months.
“We’ve had a successful year,” says Motivators CEO Ken Laffer, MAS. “And as we continue to grow and prosper, it only makes sense to give back to those who need it most.”
Every year, New York State Senator, Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr., sponsors the “Extend The Holidays” toy drive at Winthrop-University Hospital. The drive delivers toys after the holiday season, aiming to give children at the hospital the joys of receiving a holiday gift throughout the year.
“This is a wonderful tradition which, through the assistance of the community, puts smiles on the faces of many children each year,” says Senator Fuschillo. “I welcome anyone who is interested in participating in this program to contact my office.”
