R.S. Owens & Company, Inc. (UPIC: RSOWENS), a supplier headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, has named Modesto Duarte its Employee of the Quarter.
The company recognizes the contributions of its employees on a monthly and quarterly basis. R.S. Owens’ awards committee evaluates submissions for employee recognition, although, as Scott Siegel, MAS, president of R.S. Owens and past chair of the PPAI Board, puts it: “It’s hard to single out one person for recognition when you have so many dedicated people.”
Modesto is a member of R.S. Owens’ apprentice program working in the company’s design studio. His work has been featured in both the 2011 and 2012 catalogs. Prior to the design studio, Modesto also worked in other departments at R.S. Owens. The Employee of the Quarter award recognizes the innovative techniques he has brought to his work.
