How did your company get its start?
I was working for a larger printing company that served the promotional products industry and decided I could do it better on my own. I’ve been serving the businesses in my area since May 2007, offering signs, pens, pencils—basically anything that can take a printed logo.
What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry?
I am able to offer a personal approach that fits everybody’s budget. When I speak with clients, I don’t look at it as all about my company. I offer them solutions to their needs that fit within their means and offer the quality they need.
When did you know that you wanted to work in this industry?
I first began working in the promotional products industry while with my previous employer and I liked what I saw. In this business, it’s something new not just every day, but every order. The work you do is personal to every client, as you’re working with their visions and limitations.
Why did you join PPAI?
It seemed like the rational thing to do. PPAI is partnered with SAGE, which I have worked with for quite a while. They have everything I need. I’ve tried other options, but they didn’t work out for me at all. Joining PPAI seemed like the right thing to do in my position.
