Loading ...National Premium Acquires Distributor CAM, Inc.
Distributor National Premium, Inc. (UPIC: NATIONAL) has acquired Overland Park, Kansas-based CAM, Inc. (UPIC: CAM-INC). The deal, the terms of which were not made public, closed on August 1. CAM, Inc. will continue to operate under its own name through the remainder of 2011, before adopting the National Premium branding in January 2012.
CAM, Inc. produced a turnover of $7 million a year. In bringing the company onboard, Pewaukee, Wisconsin-based National Premium grew its annual revenues to $30 million and added a fulfillment center and other resources. National Premium also has offices in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and Neptune Beach, Florida, as well as the Netherlands and Hong Kong.
